Dr. Raymond Jess Honorary Scholarship

The Greenwood Gun Club has established a scholarship in honor of Dr. Raymond Jess, President Emeritus.

Dr. Raymond Jess is recognized for being an important part of the visionary leader group responsible for the club organization. He played an important role in creating the organization and great facility that our shooters enjoy.

The scholarship is awarded annually in the amount of $1,000.

Selection of recipient(s) is by the Greenwood Gun Club Board and is administered by the TSRA Foundation.

Selection of recipient(s) is by the Greenwood Gun Club Board.  Applications must be submitted to Greenwood Gun Club by July 1st.  The scholarship will be awarded by December of the same year.

Note that the criteria and application package for the Ray Jess Scholarship are very similar to several other scholarships offered through the TSRA Foundation.  This facilitates an applicant to apply for all of them, and we encourage them to do so.

To apply, download and complete the application form, gather the supporting documents (listed on the application) and prepare your information packet for electronic submittal. All documents must be submitted electronically (scan them if necessary), no hard copies will be accepted. Then, send your completed application form and all supporting documents to scholarship@greenwoodgunclub.org
